Now, I am not trying to preach here, but am I the only person that thinks the images of Gaddafi that the media are displaying are just a little sick? I know he has made mistakes, and I am not a fan, but why would we need to see such things? We are in no way in a position to judge his wrong doings, that is between him and the man upstairs...so why do people think it is ok to wait in a fat line to see his dead body?? There were children in line too...what kind of parent thinks it ok for their child to see something like that??
Ok, preach over, I'm off, super hungry, lots of hugs xoxo

It's time to smell the coffee, it's not time to drink it!!!
First of all, let me say a huge SORRY I have been away for so long. I would like to lie and give a rather glamorous account of why I have been on the missing list, but that would be a lie. The truth is the page comes up in Arabic on my laptop for some reason, and for the life of me I couldn't figure out how to sign in....sad, but true. For those of you who were fooled into thinking my Arabic was any good, you now know differently.
I must say that over the past weeks I have been hungry, yes hungry!!! I have been on a strict diet, and to my pleasure over a period of four weeks I have lost 6.8 kg, that is just over stone!!! Am I happy??? No, I'm jumping for joy...literally!!! Right now I'm so proud of me...no more junk food (as much as I love you) no more fizzy drinks, no more pasta (I miss you the most...yum) and no more...COCONUT RICE!!! The last one is the most painful, I'm not a huge rice fan, but coconut rice, well it's better than getting a pedicure, better than throwing snowballs, I'd even go as far as saying it's better than drinking ice tea with lemon from the chinese shop in Riyad.
On a serious note, I have come to realise that with anything in life, it is a simple case of mind over matter...the more we think something is impossible, the less possible it becomes...so, it's super important to know that we are human beings, the coolest species on planet Earth and we can do anything we set our minds too...I even resisted the free rice that I got with my grilled chicken today...I never refused free food in the past. NEVER!!! That may be how I got myself into this problem, or it may be the fact that I ate carbs like the English drink tea, practically every minute...
So if when you see me, you stop and wonder what I have been doing with my excess baggage, just know that I've dumped it in the skip where it belongs...let me not be in denial, 6.8 kg is no where near what I am planning to, or need to lose, but as they say Rome wasn't built in a day, and the olympic stadium took forever to build...so let me take my time...
lots of hugs xoxo
